About the Author

Greg Garrett is an award-winning professor at Baylor University and the author of two dozen books. BBC Radio has called Greg one of America’s essential voices on faith and culture; he has appeared on NPR, Fox News, and MSNBC, and been covered by media sources ranging from The New Yorker and The Spectator to Christianity Today, Playboy, and Men’s Health. His new trade title A Long, Long Way grows out of four years of public screenings and conversations about film and race held across the country and in Europe. Greg is the co-founder of the annual Long, Long Way Film Festival at Washington National Cathedral, a longtime presenter at the Austin Film Festival, and the Theologian in Residence at the American Cathedral in Paris. He lives in Austin with his wife Jeanie and their daughters Lily and Sophie.
